The Beaumont Independent School District can’t say enough good things about Fibrebond!

Fibrebond is very professional expedient and cognoscente of time, cost and design. They are easy to work with and are vested in providing the best building for the user.

They have been the most professional CMAR that I have work with and their prefab concrete modules are fantastic.

The new Pre-kindergarten buildings that were manufactured by Fibrebond was a great learning experience.  It was amazing to watch vacant property become four classrooms in the matter of days! 

The buildings have the same appearance as the other buildings on the property and are beautiful inside and out.

The inherent qualities of precast concrete buildings, such as durability, provide customers with tremendous, long-lasting benefits.

Clients are able to see similar projects, which help them visualize in the design stage what the final product will actually look like, leaving them satisfied with the results.

Our client, S&S Consolidated, expressed an interest in using the Fibrebond prefabricated classroom system.  

They are very pleased with their new classrooms!

I believe that the Beaumont Independent School District’s Board of Trustees’ choosing Fibrebond to construct the additions for six schools in the district was an excellent decision.  Fibrebond’s executives and staff are competent, experienced, caring individuals who were more than willing to work cooperatively with the district’s construction management team.  Also, the quality of Fibrebond’s final product is excellent. 

The Beaumont Independent School District was faced with needing quality construction in a short amount of time so we could utilize our portable buildings as temporary campuses during our $388 million bond construction program.  I was on the first evaluative committee to visit Fibrebond’s home offices to tour a prototype Fibrebond facility and the manufacturing plant.  As I toured the building, I was impressed with the quality; however, as a retired classroom teacher, I was “blown away” with the fact that I could carry on a conversation with my committee members inside a classroom while a jackhammer was operating right outside the building. 

The Fibrebond construction process is innovative and efficient.  The district was able to construct the foundations for the buildings while Fibrebond manufactured the buildings in their factory.  The district did not have to worry about construction delays due to inclement weather because all the “construction” was done in the factory. When the slabs were ready, Fibrebond had the buildings ready. In addition, Fibrebond’s delivery process was amazing. As soon as one unit was in place, a truck delivering the next unit arrived. We actually had audiences for the delivery of the first several units at Fletcher Elementary School.

            The Beaumont Independent School District now has multiple facilities that can withstand 150 mile per hour winds and can serve as “shelter-in-place facilities for emergency workers during a hurricane. The first of Fibrebond’s buildings at West Brook High School served as an emergency responders’ shelter-in-place facility during Hurricane Ike, and the personnel reported that they hardly knew a wind was blowing outside the building. In addition to having shelter-in-place facilities in each quadrant of the city now, an added benefit of the Fibrebond construction is that should one of the facilities flood, the facility can be restored more quickly than a traditionally constructed building. A final benefit is that the outside of the building can be manufactured to match present construction so that the school does not have a “Hodge-podge” appearance.
